Pacific Pickle Works Factory Tour & Pickling Activity 2pm Tour
Fri, May 16 at 2pm
Join us for an exclusive tour of the Pacific Pickle Works manufacturing facility, hosted by Principal Pickle & Founder, Brad Bennett. This immersive experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at the mechanics and art of crafting small-batch pickles, pickled vegetables, condiments and more in their modest facility in the lower East-side industrial area of Santa Barbara. Brad will guide you through the process, sharing the passion and care that go into each batch and revealing the secrets behind what gets their award-winning products to market around the US and exported around the world.
As part of the experience, guests will hear the history of how Pacific Pickle Works came to be, some of the unique challenges of manufacturing products for the consumer market, and walk a short tour around their production facility. As part of the experience, guests will have a brief tasting of a variety of the products offered by Pacific Pickle Works which showcase the creativity and flavor profiles of their signature West Coast style pickles. At the end tour participants will have the opportunity to create and take home their very own dill-icious jar of pickles.
Whether you’re a pickle aficionado or new to the world of brining, this tour is designed for all levels and most ages (suggested for ages 12 and up). You’ll learn the techniques behind creating safe and tasty pickles and discover the unique qualities that set these small-batch varieties apart from other mass-produced brands.
